며칠째 추위가 몰아치고 있다.

뱅기를 타고 남쪽나라로 가면 좋으련만, 어디 그럴 수 있나.

대신 적도 이남의 産物이라도....

누군가 "It's a solid wine. It stands on its own two feet."라고 감상평을 써놓았다.

첫잔의 느낌이 짱짱하다.  그리고 그 단단한 짜임이 꽤 오래 간다.

천천히 식어가면서도 쉽게 허물어지지는 않는다.

강한 과일향의 달콤함이 끝까지 이어지고,

짱짱하다 못해 짠맛을 느낄 정도의 짜임은 초중반에 이 와인의 feature다.

처음부터 끝까지 잡맛은 없다.

 

아쉬운 것은 그 단단함이 스러지면서 그냥 달콤함만 남고 (까르미네르 비슷함)

다른 개성은 새로운 변화를 하지 않는 점인데,

그야 내 예산이 해결할 문제이니, 과욕은 그만.

다음에 여유가 되면 기억해 두었다가 Wyndham Estate의 Shiraz에서 등급을 올려가면 좋은 경험을 할 수 있을 듯.

몇 년 만에 싸이월드 미니 홈피에 들어가 보니,

오래 전, 일기장에 몇 자 적어 놓았던 글이 눈에 띄었다.

당시 어디선가 보고 무릎을 치면서 옮겨 적었겠지.

그런데 오늘은 어이쿠 하며 이마를 치게 되니...

도대체 나는 배우고 행하는 것에 왜 이리 무딘 것일까?
